I love collaboration. The more I do it, the more I love it. It's amazing to see how much my artistic expression can grow and expand when it is connected to someone else's creativity. I've been working on an album of my music with a producer and trying her ideas has helped mature my songs far beyond what I imagined them being. She has, by her creativity, helped me express my true self even more, because I was willing to share my heart with her.

Collaboration is, in a sense, it's iwn form of creativity. If creativity at its core is problem solving, than figuring out how to mesh two people's artistic expression is super creative. Now that my produced collaboration had fought my music to another level I'm branching out to involve other artists further expand my art and theirs. Building collaboration upon collaboration to create a really fun, giant group effort of sound and color and movement that's so far beyond what I could ever do alone, but still involves my ideas. It's amazing!

Here's my challenge for you this week: Find people who resonate with you, whose creative expression makes you really excited, and find a way to partner with them. Paint the lyrics to their song. Or have them create a dance to yours. Whatever it is that you do, connect it to what they do. It doesn't have to be musical, it just has to be collaborative. There possibilities are endless and so is your creativity. I can hardly wait to see what you create together! Feel free to share using the hashtag #BIcollab.
