Bright Ideas 2018 Highlights and 2019 Plans!

Happy New Year friends! What a year 2018 has been! Many big changes happened at Bright Ideas in 2018.

We launched a podcast, Unveiling Your Creative Superpowers, in March of 2018! Thank you to everyone who has listened to the podcast! It has been so great to hear your feedback as you’ve listened to the show! If you haven’t subscribed on iTunes yet or left a review, it would make my year to hear your feedback!

The podcast in 2018 only featured me (Emily) & Sarah Bryan but in 2019 I’m working on a bunch of awesome new guests, a fun new format, and many new and exciting ideas - including ways to involve you in the podcast! Get your ears ready!

If you have any ideas, questions, topics you’d like to hear, or other feedback, don’t hesitate to reach out!

In May of 2018, our dear co-founder Sarah Bryan decided to step back from Bright Ideas and pursue some of her other passions, including getting married this year! The first Bright Ideas Collective wedding!! Can’t wait!

In August I launched the first live online group class and spent the fall diving back into the Bright Ideas Book, doing actions, and working through creative blocks with some amazing women. If you need to access more of your creativity or find your creative voice, we’re starting another class (only 8 weeks long this time!) on January 23rd.

I also taught a workshop at Kitsch in Norfolk, VA about Discovering Your Creative Voice. The women who came demonstrated such beautiful curiosity and willingness share their hearts. Kitsch also started selling our book out of their shop! I’m looking forward to doing more in person workshops in this near year! Keep an eye on the events page for more details.

I am SO GRATEFUL to every person who has listened to a podcast, read a block post, purchased the book, joined an online group, come out to a workshop, or talked to me in person about their creative journey. Seeing all of you find and express more of your creative voice is what the Bright Ideas Collective is all about! I’m looking forward to growing the community in 2019 and hearing more of your stories of creative wins!

I’d love to hear from you! What were some of your highlights in 2018? Did your creativity surprise you at any points? What are you looking forward to creatively in 2019?
