Staying Inspired - Magazines

A quick, easy, and fairly inexpensive way to keep inspiration coming (without getting lost in Pinterest) is by getting a magazine subscription. There are beautiful publications being created that can bring you a regular dose of creative inspiration, and they come in the mail!

My (Emily's) personal favorites are:

The Anthropologie Catalog (it's free!) - request one here - with gorgeous photography and clothing / home goods it always fills my beauty bucket.

Fast Company - you can read a lot of it online, but there's nothing like holding paper in your hands and feeling special because you got real mail. I really appreciate their quirky sense of humor, insightful articles, and compelling stories about entrepreneurs and innovation.

Darling - another beautiful printed art collection filled with stories and gorgeous imagery. Darling is about the art of being a woman - maybe not as inspiring for our male readers. ;)

Sarah's favorite:

Garden & Gun - delightfully full of all things Southern culture from food to music to best vacation spots!

A few other lovely options:

Maker - this is a bi-annual publication from the online platform that celebrates the slow process of handmade, artisan goods. Their website is gorgeous and filled with lovely content but their print publication takes it to the next level.

Kinfolk - this magazine is sold in Anthropologie if that tells you anything about it. The publication itself is a work of art with heavy paper, lovely photography, and minimalist design. This magazine focuses on the art of living simply and beautifully.

Hearth - beautiful storytelling in magazine form

Gather Journal - a delectable food magazine with incredible photography and mouth watering recipes.
